Trips

At Eastborough Academy we believe that children learn in a variety of different ways. This is why we enrich our curriculum with a wide range of ‘essential experiences’ which support and extend the work which is undertaken in the classroom.
Trips are carefully planned to provide opportunities for children to enhance their learning across the breadth of the curriculum, including the Personal Development curriculum.
Visits which have already taken place include trips to Thwaites Mills, Dewsbury Minster, Doncaster Wildlife Park, Bradford Science and Media Museum and Eden Camp to name a few.
Dallowgill Residential
Originally built in 1640, Dallowgill School was a National Society of the Church of England School. After years of exchanging hands, ownership was officially passed to the Trust in June 2019.
Extensive refurbishment and extension to the site has created an outdoor education centre which will benefit Delta students from every school supporting enrichment across the curriculum, giving students access to nature and learning important life skills.

Pupils at Eastborough Academy are able to benefit from use of this incredible facility.
For the first time, in 2025, children in Year 6 will be offered the opportunity to stay at the centre for their residential experience.
